Kristen TotaroWith a passion for photography and knack for communicating with people Kristen Totaro started, Snap Two It photography in early 2007. After graduating from the University of Maryland with a BA in Liberal Arts, and a distinction in photography and film, Kristen returned to New York and got her start in the media industry with Grey Advertising.

In 1993, Kristen took a position in the marketing department of Scholastic Publishing and had the opportunity to work with children and teens on numerous photo shoots for the catalog & print media division. It was at Scholastic that Kristen honed her skills at children's portrait photography & art direction, an invaluable experience that set the stage for Snap Two It Photography. After leaving Scholastic, Kristen took a position with American Express as the Director of Advertising for the American Express Catalog. It was here that she worked as the creative director working with the best photographers in NYC creating an 86 page monthly catalog. The catalog incorporated high-end products in the furniture, jewelry, electronics, computers and lifestyle categories. In 2001, Kristen joined forces with creative guru & brother Chad Totaro, and started NimbleQuick a successful marketing and graphic design firm located in Philadelphia. It was after the birth of Kristen's two children that her decision to start Snap Two It Photography solidified. Kristen's approach to photography all began with her desire to communicate and it is this driving force that enables her to capture the inner essence of her subjects.

Kristen Totaro resides in Kinnelon, NJ with her two biggest fans, son Ryan and daughter Kaitlyn.
